When this ends...

As the proverbial words take us for a spin, "Hope is Good", we ponder on whether how much of it actually is. For a while now, the world has been through so much. It would be harsh to blame any said year for the same. In my opinion, it is just bad timing. Or, Mother Earth had too much of us to bear on her part. She might have cried for help in the past, but our everyday commotion made us oblivious to the aggravated scenario that already was. We've witnessed innocent Koalas crying for help amidst the wildfires of Australia, multiple scams and fallouts of known associations and a virulent disease that sprung out of nowhere and took the entire globe by a storm the human race was extremely under-prepared for. No sooner could we act a little on time, than a disease spread far more quickly and out of visible, attainable reach.      You ask, what harm did we do to have been thrashed and subjected to such untrodden folly ? I'd say, actually we c

Thieving❤

Thieving  moments        Life has it's own of playing out. Uncertainty is so much less than just a synonym. There are so many frailties to our existence. Especially sounding selfless here, our existence doesn't just limit itself to us. It also does depend a lot on people we love dearly. And in these times, their loss shatters us. It leaves questions unanswered, faith shaken and the will to live completely broken. Well, I'm not here to talk about the loss. I'm rather going to speak on life after the loss of a loved one.        One loses clue of how time passes. Seconds and minutes get exchanged to being years. And sometimes, a day passes along, with one being unaware of feeling any of it at all. As tricky as time is, it brings pain unknown in aplenty. The realisation of living without the loved one hits slower with every passing hour. And one never wants to reach the peak of this, but sadly in a particular albeit unpredictable moment, the sad fact sti

Shuru se shuru karein ❤

Celebrating our own incompleteness❤      "We're all a little broken. That's how the light gets in."   There are flaws in all of us. We're always seeking for ourselves to be the better, more competent version. In that constant argument with the self, we often disregard our uniqueness. Those flaws, whichever they are, they make us. They inspire us to be better, then how are they supposed to be called "flaws" ? Today by the end of this blog, I want all the readers to not use the word "flaw". Even a little practice in some pertinent time would matter.    Every morning we get up and get going. Goals to meet, situations to conquer and people to win over. And if we can't do that in any given duration, we declare ourselves as failures, shockingly, before anyone else does. We do not like to depend or take some help from any entity in an area we might not be excelling in. There's this barrage to be proved that "I am self dependen

Count your blessings

Count your blessings                       As I was feeling upset for some or the other personal reason this while, Papa came home carrying lamps made by the girls of the "Blind Girls  Association". This has been a tradition since some time now and we light the lamps made by the blind girls on the occasion of Diwali and also all round the year.  It is a happy-sad alloyed bunch of feelings.              The God, who didn't light ray of hope in their eyes, those very same blind souls make diyaa-s for Him, for His temple to light up. God gave them almost nothing, yet they offered him everything. We, with our intact and fulfilled vision, tend to disregard the visual and obvious blessings God has given us.  This also throws light on the meaning of Love. Love is selfless. Regardless of what is given to us, we must continue giving whatever we have.              We must value whatever we have, for it can be taken away from us the very next moment and in a

A reflection ⭐

Mental Health So, how often do you call someone "lazy", "distracted", "whimsical"  or even a "fool" ? You do so when you see peculiar reactions among certain people detaching themselves from the activities of regular pleasure. One who sits in a corner doing nothing, talking nothing, crying or just displaying a  :(   is considered to be a dysfunctional entity. It seems as if he/she can do every damn thing in this world, yet just wants to sit and not move for good life.   We connect displeasure to physical ailments. If a person has, say - a broken knee or cancer, he/she "can" remain sad, it's okay. Distressing situations limited to time are given the green signal for their prisoners to be upset, grumpy and sad beyond measure. Just because they warranty death or partial stagnation, they warrant the person to be revolving around the idea of inexistence.  While, this is surely not the case with mental and emotional hea

Go Goa and Always Go Goa

Goa, The Place to Be in 💙       Travelling. One word and the swarm of feelings it carries. It's delightful to move somewhere as something on this Earth and even more joyous to move places and places in quest of self. To Travel isn't actually a verb but a noun. Poetically so. It is essential for the soul to Travel and find likings or similarities in this vast sphere we all are a part of. Travelling breathes life to the monotonicity of our lives.       I've found my love in many places apart from home. Home being the need and goal of life, of course, is a part of life. But these places actually hold significance just in taste with Home. One such is Goa.       Goa. The word, the place, the geography and all adjectives of happiness merge skillfully in. It's a gifted place. People tend to portray various notions and reasons for travelling this particular land. Some have the reason for enjoying surf-sun-and-sand. Some have their adolescence blooming at it's

Favourite Music 💌🎵

Words of the Heart ~ Lyrics     So, often we find ourselves listening repeatedly to a paragraph or some lines from a song. We name it our favourite song or our favourite tune. We immerse in the beats of the song and find ourselves in our fairytales or mystic worlds, so to say. The myriad impact of how some words depict our current or all-time situation is what catches the eye and the mind, always.     I've visualized dreams in some songs, reality in some and some in-between escapades in certain melodies. The words, the paragraphs, the tunes and the beats excite me. I feel I'm empathized by my favourite songs. There's a thought that someone out there has perhaps carved what my mind did. It's a beautiful déjà vu, rather. And believe me, there's nothing more satisfying than hearing in music, what the heart croons.       There's such apathy and generosity in music. Especially one wherein we just weave our imagination from. The list of favourite songs a
